tape rips
Enjoy some of the weirdest content ever committed to magnetic tape, copied straight from my personal collection.
28 Minutes Show - New York Public Access Show!
Found in a box of old public access television recordings on a tape labeled "My Name is #1", this is an episode of "The 28 Minutes Show" from MNN. Aired some time in the 2000s or 2010s, it features everything from an art-punk noiserock masterpiece about a teddybear massacre, belly dancing, a two-step workout routine, a poem about domestic abuse, and a rap song about pornography. Wow!

Amazing Instant Aquarium
Enjoy 30 minutes of the world's emptiest, ugliest aquarium! The tape says it will "amaze and impress your friends!" but all it did was make me want to throw plastic bags into the ocean.
"OZONE ACTION" by the Department of Environmental Protection
Do YOU live in the early 2000s? Do YOU want to be taught how to protect the Ozone layer, despite the fact that YOU, as an individual citizen of Earth, have a negligible effect on the problem compared to the massive corporations that the elites in society have refused to hold accountable? Then, boy, do I have a video for you!
Safe Internet Surfing
Stuck in 1993 and need to stay safe on the Internet? Want to learn from a bunch of has-beens and never-will-bes? Love America Online? Today's your lucky day!
Rainbow's Remedy
Watch as Eloise Cole and her alter ego, Rainbow the Clown, use stupid props like scarves, cans of peanuts, a pile of knitting yarn, and a "Help Wanted" sign to explore concepts like death, pain, misery, and depression.
Beware: There's only five minutes of clown footage, and then twenty minutes of people talking about their dead loved ones. Fun for the whole family! Except for the dead ones.
Unseen performance of "Dinner Dancing With Frank Pacholski"
Found in the pilot of a made-for-tv talent show that never got picked up for production, this previously-unseen performance features Frank feeding, terrorizing, and mesmerizing a group of contestants vying for 5,000 dollars. At least it was catered- unfortunately, by Frank.
Bob Kinkel Steller Productions - Commercial Reel - 5/18/91
A reel of 14 commercials put together in '91 by Bob Kinkel productions. Features a Diet Coke commercial that shows the birth of Skynet, an awesome ad for Nickelodeon, some very 90s MTV bumpers, and a UN advertisement straight out of a horror movie. Both radical AND tubular.
Scrabble - Hot Spots - RT: 6:30
Triple bored score! Learn to Scrabble like a pro from Matt Graham, a Scrabble "master" who dresses like he just woke up.

Line Dancing for Seniors - Volumes 1 & 2
A screening night classic in which 20 seniors wear the same outfit and line dance slightly out of rhythm. Part of my favorite sub-genre of VHS, the "old people dancing tape".

Natasha's staff Blockbuster Kidprint tape
Natasha and a few other coworkers goof off and make a Kidprint video while they're at it. Check out that sweet X-Men information card!

"Men in Black" by The Space Cadets - PJHS 13th Annual Lip Sync Contest
A very awkward rendition of "Men in Black" by the high school group The Space Cadets. Part of a lip sync contest from 1998.
Access Your Future
Watch as our main character builds a super computer that seems pretty set on him going to a Bob Jones University. Then, pay close attention for when the computer teleports itself inside of a /different/ computer at the Christian college and turns into a badly rotoscoped streak of light. What do you think the interest rate is when you take a student loan from god?
